The pictures and descriptions you give of your recent blizzard reminds me that the first winter I moved to Princeton we had what became infamously known as the Blizzard of '96. (Google it) With that shovel in his hand Danny looks a lot like I did. I thought the East was going to be miserable but then it didn't snow again for 3 more years. Climate...who can predict it?
I figure no one is going to read this - but if you're bored enough - this is us...
We met while we were in undergrad at BYU. I graduated in Early Childhood Education and Danny graduated in Biology. We were married in March 2007, while I was teaching 2nd grade and Danny was working at Primary Children's as an EKG tech. He was accepted to Drexel Medical School the day before we got married and 4 months later we were off to start our new lives in Philly. I survived for two years doing various jobs such as nannying, teaching preschool, and teaching Kindergarten. Thankfully, we were offered the opportunity to move to Pittsburgh for 3rd and 4th year of medical school doing rotations at AGH. WE LOVED PITTSBURGH! We loved the people and we loved the city. I subbed the 1st year and taught EHS the 2nd year. Our time there came to a close all too soon and before we knew it Danny matched to do a Pediatric residency at Phoenix Children's Hospital around the same time we found out I was pregnant! We now live in Mesa, AZ and were blessed with a WONDERFUL baby boy. Life is a lot different now, but we love each new day!
Your quick marriage summary left out a very important detail: you courted while living at my house. I love you guys and hope you're happy back east!
